That Cousin by BechnoKid That Cousin by BechnoKid
WELL! Finals are over and this is a way for me celebrating: Introducing another character!

Oddly enough, this guy is not a new character at all. He's actually quite old, created around the same time as Mr. Happy. My sister and I actually collaborated to create his design and his name. It's just that I couldn't draw him "hot" enough, HURRHURR.

Meet Mr. Happy's cousin, Mr. Ügly! Mr. Ü also works at the same school as his dear cousin and teaches in the math department. He knows a thing or two about those good old derivatives and integrals and the fundamental theorem of calculus. HECK YEAH.

Mr. Ü is what you can call a ray of sunshine. With an eternally positive and bright demeanor, he can find enjoyment in every activity, including finding the antiderivative of esinx + 1. Although he and Mr. H are complete opposites, Mr. Ü's personality is not a surprise compared to the rest of Mr. H's family. Mr. H just happens to be the black sheep, is all.

Unlike the other characters in Mr. Happy's story, Mr. Ügly does not have any sort of strange characteristic about him for now until I talk to my sister about it since we both created him.

Now for some fun facts!

:bulletwhite: Mr. Ü lives in the apartment building next to Mr. Happy's. Does that still make them neighbors?

:bulletwhite: Mr. Happy can't STAND Mr. Ü, but he's grateful for his cousin, who worked as a model for the store, for giving him a job at Abercrombie and Fitch while studying to become a teacher.

:bulletwhite: Mr. Ü's design is largely inspired by my sister's former crush.

:bulletwhite: While Mr. H has his coffee, Mr. Ü has his donuts. He freaking loves them like crazy, just as much as Mr. Happy loves his coffee. It's a miracle that Mr. Ü managed to maintain his weight. High metabolism, perhaps.

:bulletwhite: I wasn't kidding when I said that I didn't know how to make him look handsome a couple of years ago. This was his very first design: [link] Gack.

:bulletwhite: My sister and I wanted to make a tie for Mr. ▄gly that was similar to Mr. Happy's H tie. Not only did we want to put in a U, but we wanted to make it look like a smiley face to match Mr. ▄gly's happy-go-lucky personality.

AND THAT'S IT. After two to three years, I finally get to show Mr. Ügly to you guys. I'm quite happy now.

I guess it's meant to be ironic since Mr. Happy's a total grumpypants despite his name. Likewise, Courage from CtCD is pretty cowardly despite his name. XD Characters with misnomers are by far the most interesting ones ever.

Yeah, now when I call them their names I doubt myself when you pointed it out. They are interesting. If he was called Mr. Angry it just wouldn't be as fun calling his by his name.

8V Heheh, I wanted to make a parody character of Mr. Happy called Mr. Sadd. Who was VERY happy. But... glad it's been taken care of by Mr. *tilt your head* C:

He reminds me of Neil Patrick Harris. But I feel like that offends you if you had a hard time coming up with the character design :I
