Rubees and Beans

Tried out a different paint style. I was intrigued on how most artists would start their flat coloring with a dark shade and then they would just highlight from there with a lighter color. I've tried several times in the past, but they've never quite worked and so I took a break for a long time until now. I still have a lot of practice to do, but this was decent for a first and completed try.

ANYWAY! This pairing makes absolutely no sense and yet it does. Seeing as how the two are both selfish, childish, bratty, and immature villains in the games, I thought it would make a little bit of sense. A little.

In case you don't know, these are humanized versions of Mimi (from Super Paper Mario) and Fawful (from the Mario and Luigi RPG games). I tried to give Mimi a petite appearance without making her look too young. I think I failed.
